Uhane Pohaku Na Moku O Hawaii is a non-profit organization based in Pahala, Kaʻū, Hawaiʻi. Founded in 2009 on the island of Lanai, our mission is to provide native Hawaiian cultural practices to all youths and their families in the community, catering to a diverse audience interested in native Hawaiian cultural practices and the concept of a "place of Refuge." We focus on cultural restoration work, job creation, and economic development through the use of traditional Hawaiian skills. Our goal is to develop heritage-based life skills that can lead to economic success and independence, while fostering a sense of family and community for individuals. We also aim to serve as a platform to showcase our work, provide information about our programs and services, and engage with our target audience, including Native Hawaiians and their families, community members seeking educational and healing opportunities, individuals interested in traditional Hawaiian skills and cultural lifeways, as well as supporters and donors who value the preservation of native Hawaiian culture.

At Uhane Pohaku Na Moku O Hawaii, we focus on preserving native Hawaiian culture and traditions by providing educational programs and opportunities to individuals and families in the community. Our programs are designed to promote economic development and job creation through the use of these skills. We also offer cultural restoration work to preserve and protect important cultural sites and artifacts.
